Yes, when you complete the subscription process, you will receive a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password. Note: although a single login will provide access to all journals, your login will be active only for the journal(s) of the society to which you belong.
We have instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password. Details about how to do this will be included as part of the subscription process.
Without a subscription you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, and full-text searching at no cost and without having to register.
If your institution has a paper subscription, it will be eligible to have an electronic version of the journal(s) as well. In so doing, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full-text display, PDFs, and Medline links. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution does not have a paper subscription, it currently cannot get an electronic version of JAS, JDS, or Poult Sci. If you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.
For JAS, JDS, and Poult Sci, institutions receive the paper version(s) bundled with online access. Electronic access to JAPR must be purchased separately. At some time, the paper and electronic versions may be available as separate subscriptions. Members may order a paper copy of the journal(s) from ASAS, ADSA, or PSA.
ASAS Members, ADSA Members, and PSA Members are eligible for Member Subscriptions to JAS, JDS, and Poult Sci, respectively, providing them access to the electronic version(s) of the journal(s) as soon as they activate their subscriptions. Members may also have access to the journals online through an Institutional subscription.
You may wish to apply for society membership Without a subscription you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, and full-text searching (without full-text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.
